In the past years, online job websites have been cluttered with several pages dedicated to text-heavy resumes filled mostly with meaningless bullet lists. The same websites also offer impersonalized jobs and application forms that take an average of 20 to 60 minutes to fill.How are you then expected to find or fill a job position when the tools that are provided are really not providing the need help? We decided to take up this challenge by simplifying the process. At Waserise, people are expected to create brief profilesand tag them with key attributes that are searchable by employers and matched in real time to jobs.
Waserise offers the communities easy and affordable access to job placements. The solution appeals to professional and artisans, individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Our job navigation model allows users (both professionals and artisans) to pick several tags describing them and exactly what type of job they want. Waserise has two main sections – job seeker and employers sections.
Job seekers
Users are able to create their tag profile and set their job alerts online anytime, anywhere. All job inputs are also tagged accordingly. Job seeker can then fetch or be alerted on job lists based on their match strength preference which can be put in % i.e. job search with 95% my-match would get user a list of jobs with tags that almost perfectly matches the user’s own tags. Whereas a 55% my-match would not only fetch a list of your perfect tag matches, but it would also fetch the nearest and most similar job matches to your tags.

 

Notification will be via emails and / or mobile phones. For the SMS Job alert, each job seeker will get an automated text message each time there is a matching job / vacancy or whenever there is a message from a potential recruiter. With this, job seekers can get to apply for jobs on time. On Waserise, you DON’T search for jobs. That is our job.

 

So how does it work then?As soon as an employer / recruiter posts a job, its requirements (skills, location, years of experience, etc.) are matched in real time against our database of profiles, resulting in a highly accurate short-list of potential candidates. If you have properly filled out your profile, your name will be on these short-lists (as long as there is a demand for your skills).


This process eliminates the need for you to constantly search for jobs and the stress that comes with not getting any feedback from employers.

Employer:
The Employers, on the other hand, can get to post jobs online, receive matching candidates’ tag profiles, search for potential candidates on the portal, have access to job matching tools, shortlist people for interview etc. Employer can also set matching criteria and will be notified when these criteria are meant. The alert can either be via email or SMS.

 

As a potential employer or recruiter, you can use our service to actually arrive at your candidate selection criteria and get suggestions when you are not quite sure who you are looking for. For instance, you could start by searching for "PHP", but then add complementary skills or attributes (e.g. "team working", “Lagos” etc.) until you get what looks like what you are finding.


Also, you will be using the same tags as the job seekers when posting your jobs. As soon as you post the job requirements, you get a customizable short-list of candidates who are the best matches for your opening. You have the option of modifying your criteria so you can accurately find whom you want and what type of skills they require.
